The stay was enjoyable, especially being so close to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, which was a highlight. The modern and tasteful decor really added to the experience, along with the stunning views from the rooftop bar. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the staff's willingness to accommodate our schedule, even serving us outside of regular hours. However, noise from the nearby road did detract from the tranquility we hoped for in the mountains.

the views were okay, but the room just overlooked the parking lot, what a joke! also, don’t even get me started on the steep hill, it was exhausting! and for that price, i expected at least a complimentary breakfast upgrade, or some sort of special treatment, but nope, just regular old me here. absolutely ridiculous!

rooftop bar views, beautiful decor, lovely garden
The drive up is a bit exhausting!!! The view from the top distracts from the natural beauty around!!! It would also be nice to buy the unique cups used for drinks. Just some minor tweaks could elevate the experience!!!

The hotel decor was modern, and the
rooftop bar offered breathtaking sunset views over the Nicoya Gulf. The staff was genuinely friendly and went out of their way to assist us with local recommendations. However, our room had some noise issues from the wind due to a slightly faulty balcony door.

The hotel offered spacious rooms and a fine terrace view at sunset. We enjoyed the delicious portobello sandwiches from the skilled kitchen. Our family arrangements were seamless thanks to the helpful concierge.
In my wife’s opinion, the location is a bit far from town.

Incredible Experience Surrounded by Nature
Staying in the hills of the cloud forest was unforgettable! The beautifully designed rooms offered a comfort level I didn't expect, and the rooftop bar provided stunning views during sunset. The breakfast was another highlight. I still can't get over how flavorful the dishes were and the attention to detail in everything from presentation to taste. Just a small note, having a coffee machine in the room would have been a nice touch for those early mornings and late-night relaxations.
